To an outsider like me from New York, Trojan football seemed alive vibrant and combined with amazing academics and perfect weather; I was hooked.

There is something uniquely special and uplifting about being at the airport flying to San Jose and knowing that the other people on the flight, also wearing USC gear, are traveling for the exact same reason. 

For me, the desire to have the Rams win is not as strong as it is to have the Trojans win, even though one is my new home town and the other is my college, both of equal significance.
